You will receive an acknowledgement letter upon submission of application and will be notified on the
outcome of the application within 3 working days. Upon receiving the notification letter of successful application,
you will also be notified on the scheduled time slot for collection of your Seaman Discharge Book.
A fee of SGD 18 is payable via NETS/Credit Card during collection. The following documents are to be presented for
collection of the Seaman Discharge Book:
- notification letter on successful application
- original documents as indicated in Section B for verification at:
- Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore
- Shipping Division
- Seafarers Management Department (SMD)
- 460 Alexandra Road
- #21-00 mTower
- Singapore 119963
You may check the status of your application using the
Enquiry of SDB Application
if you have not
received notification letter on successful application.
Please collect the Seaman Discharge Book
within 2 weeks
from the date of the notification letter. The Seaman Discharge Book will be cancelled if not collected within 2 weeks.
The online application is only for New SDB Applications.
